I have, I will. You should as well  
IMVHO, too many people are confusing emotional issues (which can in some ways be justified) with legal matters and issues.

To answer your question....with a question....why do you think this trial was done without a jury....?

Yeah, that was referred to as a "risky" choice by the defendants at first... uh, no, they must have known a jury would be much more likely to put them in the slammer for decades while a single judge is much easier to, oh, let's just say, "convince".

The same kind of jury known in NY for giving very high awards in Property & Casualty cases. 
I would rather have the evidence and witness convince me.

Still not clear about A train comment. 
I do know that answer-while I many have only stayed once or twice in a Holiday Inn Express my Dad was a litigator. He argued in front of the USSC. 
However that is only one of many issues involved in this case.

When it pulls in again.. I will make it clear for ya...hehehe!
I was asking the question in part because I think the reason why no jury was involved, (unlike the Amadu Diallo case) was because of the possibility that emotions would have ruled instead of what you had mentioned
