Except for the fact that many of us have/had friends that say "oh crap, I got cut from XYZ in rush, I really liked them" and then went through rush again, and ended up getting a bid from XYZ.
The OP ASSUMED it was her grades that got her cut, but she doesn't know that for a fact - it could be something entirely random. If she gets a bid from a chapter there, it'll be pretty obvious that they don't have a "once cut, always cut" policy.
We are discussing (at least I am) whether such a thing exists on the national or local level. AFAIK no group has that policy nationally - it would cripple chapters left and right if they did. If people are discussing their own chapter policies on here, well, that's not my problem.
