I also bought E=MC2 yesterday. It's not Emancipation, but it's not bad either. There are some songs I did like--Last Kiss, Love You Long Time and I Stay In Love. What did get on my nerves is JD announcing his presence in some of the songs. Can't you go on Janet's album and announce yourself? Janet needs the help, Mimi not so much.

I think they will be here for Jazzfest...this weekend or next.
They were on tour with Badu. I know she better bring her azz to the boot! She's not on the Essence lineup (ran over her time last time), so, she better get to the HOB or Monroe or something... :smirk:

Yeah they will be there the second weekend. I'll catch them on tour with Babu next month.

Seems like this summer is going to produce some good music. If only Sade and Maxwell would come out with an album.

I am LOVING Alicia Keys's video for "Teenage Love Affair!" I had a different concept in mind, but this video is precious!
I am still madly in love with As I Am!! Soror Alicia Keys did it big with that album!!

If it's the one with Baby Girl and Baby Boy, it's already out. I listened to it at Circuit City.   It was OK.

Maxwell sent out a letter on his blog saying that his album should be by the end of the year (at the latest). Sade, I can't answer.

The concerts here are going to be good period. Next Wed. I see Alicia Keyes and Neyo. That's going to be the bomb. Then later in May, Raheem Devaughn and Chrisette Michelle will be here, then Toni, Tone, Tony!, then Musiq Soulchild. All of these concerts are happening within 60 days. I'm not going to be able to control myself!

I forgot about AK and Neyo. I'm waiting til the last minute to get their tickets (If I go). TTT, will Rapheal perform with them? I don't think he was there when they stopped here. Chrisette...I'm sick of seeing her name mentioned. LOL She's ALWAYS down here. I'll catch her at Essence...Musiq too.

Rapheal is not performing with Alicia. Yeah, you're down in LA so you get to see all of the artists during Essence. That's the hook up.
