The scene in the laundry room had me screaming "Dirty Rush"!!!!
I did love the part when Frannie was yelling at Cappie! Ah being a big sis! It brought back some memories!

Also I'm glad we found out what the Bing name came from. Even if it was mean. I feel bad for Even.. but still am going for Cappie and Casey. Or me and Cappie.. (i girl can dream right)

that flashback was freaking AWESOME. the best scene ALL night. i definitely LOLed. that, and Evan's "Chandler" response to being named "Bing."
and +2 points for working "package deal" into the episode. though i thought that wouldve been the case with Casey/Ashleigh. how DOES Ashleigh get her bid anyway? (not that she shouldnt have, im just wondering since they played out everyone's rush story except for hers and she's totally written as a sidekick)
p.s. the donut/ice cream thing was DUMB. i get the point in relation to the storyline, but it was still dumb.

Glad you mentioned that. I can't think of any reason why one would choose the other first besides personal preference. I think they could of come up with a better scenario.
Loved the Dale flashback pushing his Catholic friend. Loved the Grey's Anatomy skit, kind of hit the nail on the hand about the silliness of sorority skits. Loved that Evan wanted to do KT originally, makes total sense. A lot of rushees want to join the wrong fraternity because it projects something they want to be, not who they are.
Hated the fact that is made Cappy look like a douche. I miss Evan as the villian, and Frannie, and Rebecca. It kind of took away the evilness of all three. Not so much Rebecca, but you saw a human side by the way Cappy was sincere to her in regards to eventually showing up to take her to the ball.
Can't wait to see what happens next. I want Jen K BACK! I want a little more fun in an episode. This episode was a little more dramatic the unusual. Not as quirky.

abc greek
I loved the flashbacks - fills in so much. If they do a lot more flashbacks they get a longer life from the main characters - who have to be 2nd semester juniors at this point. Yeah, we all though Evan was the villain and Cappie the poor guy that got betrayed. Turns out Cappie was a jerk and Evan the nice guy. and Frannie is not so one dimensional. Casey can be too harsh on others.
Does anyone know what sorority ZBZ is being based on? I'm picking up some Tri Delt characteristics, like snapping fingers to agree w/someone in a mtg, wearing pearls w/every outfit even sweatshirts, and mostly - in the flashback where Frannie is reading a letter to Casey in the big/little, she quotes their founder saying something like 'Steadfast in our love and friendship' as their motto - Tri Delt's is 'Steadfastly love one another'....so close.

Umm... there are lots of other NPC chapters that have some of those characteristics at varying schools. I haven't picked up on anything that really "ties" ZBZ to an existing chapter. Now the Tri-Delt motto thing I can see.

I have been noticing the symbols a lot lately..... The seal has a cat in it......I hope no reference to KAT, but who knows! Also they do seem to have a lot of crowns displayed. There is one on the top of Casey's paddle in her room, and I think on the seal?

I just don't get why there's a need for any speculation as to who ZBZ is being based on. My guess is that the show's writers are trying their best NOT to have anything resemble an existing sorority's symbols/mottos/etc.
I really must applaud the show's writers because based from what I've seen so far they really did research -- from the skits to the big/little revealing to risk management policies...pretty impressive.
I know that most dramas on ABC Family don't have a long shelf life, so I'm curious to see how long they'll let this one last. Based on "the Greek Ball incident that happened 2 years ago" Cappie/Casey/Evan are all Juniors, right?

I was wondering about this because last season Casey was a junior. So they are either 2nd semester juniors (as in this season is showing the Spring Semester) or they are Seniors. I wanna say they are seniors, but I think they are 2nd semester juniors, because Rusty & all of them havent initiated yet (or it doesnt seem like they have).

I think they're 2nd semester juniors. It's the "2nd season" but they were only on semester break, I think.
