Of course, it is ideal to have our badges in the hands of HQ. Like it or not there will always be disgruntled members or alumnae that think their membership ends after graduation and don't want their badge anymore that will sell it for cash. I was only arguing that online vendors provide a wider audience and increase the chances that the badges remain intact instead of being melted down (and also increase the chances that our HQ can recover them).
