I don't know if we've brought this artist' name up, but J. Holiday's cd is FIYAH! It reminds me of old skool David Hollister.

IMO, I LOVE the 1st CD moreso than the latest project. If you like #2, you should LOVE his debut release.

Mariah comes out tomorrow...FYI!

I can't stand that "Touch My Body" song. Oh my gosh...she sounds bi-polar or something...one minute she says touch my body and the next she says she is gonna hunt somebody down. And she needs to put some clothes on too....I'm sorry yall...just had to vent about that.

Co-sign. And the song she song on Oprah yesterday just didn't do it for me. I don't know if it was the song or her performance of the song. She just seemed off. I wait for more opinions before I hand over my $10.

I listened to the song this AM. She wants the person to do things to her, BUT she's saying it's between them and if you go run 'tel dat, I"m going to hunt you down. She mentions about it being a secret rendezvous, etc. etc, but if you tell, you're gonna have IT on your hands. I guess that's the life of a celebrity.

I just figure that MC is a studio person and does so many rifts and runs that it doesn't sound well live. I really think she was lip synching. It was good to see Trey Lorenz.

I still will cop it for $9.99, but not more than that. It's not like she's a new artist. I hope I like it as much as the Emancipation.

^^^that "hunt you down" part just trips me out...lol. My mom says that she wants it and I will probably wait to listen to hers or see if I can listen to the album on my phone and then decide. I finally got MJB's cd and I LOVE it. I put the whole thing (with the exception of two songs) on my mp3 player...I like Mary happy!

Mariah's new CD is pretty good; it's not The Emancipation, but it's nice. I enjoyed most of the uptempo songs and a few of the ballads. She could've done away with some of the guest artists, though.

Who does she have as quest artists?

I think I'm going to go purchase it tomorrow after work...

The CD is okay. It's NOT Emancipation.

I like Touch My Body, Love You Long Time, I Am that Chick, the song with JD that talks about the lost love and thanking them or something. #14 is a good cut. I expected more from Bye Bye. I guess I need to listen to it more often. I haven't listened to the songs with guest artists yet.

I would not pay more than $9.99 for this project.

And you know they had the "required" deluxe edition for more $$$. I think I'll wait until I can check it out from the library orders it.
