New Fall 2007 Recruitment story!

The second day of recruitment on my campus is house tours day! I was really excited to see all of the houses and looking forward to getting to meet a lot more active members.

In the order that my group visited the houses:

Belle
Sleeping Beauty
Cinderella
Little Mermaid
Snow White

Belle:I didn't have the best experience with Belle at forum but for some reason I still wanted to like them. This time I was paired up with a sister who was much more down to earth and friendly. The sister that talked to me at forum came up to me and hugged me but it didn't feel too sincere. They had a beautiful house with chef, maid, gardener etc. and many of the pnms were very impressed with this house.

Sleeping Beauty: I loved sleeping beauty on house tours day! I really clicked with the girl that I was paired up with. We never ran out of things to talk about and the conversation just flowed very well. I could definitely see myself just hanging out with the women here. There house was smaller but still beautiful and well decorated.

Cinderella-This time around I didn't care for cinderella as much. When we arrived, the active sisters came and picked up the pnm that they had been assigned for house tours. However, no one came to pick me up! I was really just standing there while the other pnm's had started to go on their house tour. Finally, one of the women saw me and started my house tour. She was bubbly and energetic but she had such a potty mouth that it was a little distracting! To her, everything was "so f*CKIN awesome". We couldn't seem to find anything to talk about after the usual small talk (whats your major? etc.)

Little Mermaid-There house was smaller and older than all of the other houses. The woman I was paired up with was so sweet! We both loved to dance so right away we had plenty to talk about. She was so genuine and excited to tell me about the little mermaid house, philanthropy, social events etc.! However, I think I was letting all the gossip get to me at this point and wasn't sure if I wanted to be associated with this house.

Snow White- There house was a lot farther from campus than any of the other houses. At this point we were all tired but still excited to be able to visit the last house of the day, Snow white. The women I was paired up with at snow white was so adorable and friendly. It turns out we both worked in food service and we had fun swapping stories about all the crazy customers that we met at our jobs. I like snow white a lot more this time around.

At the end of the day we had to rank our top 3 and list our bottom 2 houses.

Snow White
Belle

And as my bottom 2...
Little Mermaid
Cinderella
