The 4th day was philanthropy day. We could go around to 6 houses max and learn about their philanthropies and how their houses help out with them!
When my Rho Gam gave me my sheet telling me what houses invited me back I was a little disappointed. I only had 5 houses to visit, but a lot of girls had less than me so I wasn’t complaining.
The following houses asked me back:

These houses didn’t ask me back:

I was pretty sad not to see Michael back on my list but the girl I talked to didn’t seem too interested, plus I liked most of the 5 houses I was going back to!
Seeing Charlie gone was sad but the looks that the seniors had given the people the day before made me not want to be in the house anymore. I wanted to be in a house that was full of friendly people
Eko, Hugo and Sun weren’t really too big of a deal for me, yeah they were cool but not the right fit for me.
At the 5 houses we visited we did a lot of crafts…I won’t say exactly what we did because that’ll give some of them away!!!
Claire
At this house we used paints…me being me I the paints all over my hands! I still knew this house wasn’t for me but I felt really bad because the other girls at my table straight up refused to talk back to the girls whey were with. The sister I was with and myself did the most talking of about anyone in the room.
Libby
I was really excited to go back to this house! Again the girl from the 1st day came over and told me she was glad to see me!!! The girl I was paired to on that day also said she’d heard a lot of good things about me, which made me feel really great! Their activity involved glue so I left leaving with really sticky hands haha! We watched a video at this house, it was pretty good and was a relief because my member and I had started to run out of things to talk about. When I left the girls from the 1st day came over again and told me should couldn’t wait to see me the next day!!
Walt
I really started to like this house. I talked to an amazing girl who was just on my level and wasn’t afraid to laugh about stupid things! We did some coloring and drawing…I felt a little stupid since I’m not the most artistically inclined person and she was but it ended up being really fun. We watched an amazing video about their philanthropy, it really made me start thinking about seriously being in this house.
Boone
I had kept this house towards the top…until philanthropy day. The girl I was matched with was so rude. When ever I said anything she shushed me, she only wanted to talk to her other sister at the table and she wouldn’t let me even touch the crafts. It ended up being the her and her sister talking and me and the other PNM just sitting and watching them talk and do the crafts. Looking back I wish I would have said something besides just asking her if I could do the crafts too (to which she said no). It’s a shame because I really was starting to like this house and thought about actually joining it.
Jack
This is the other house I was really starting to like! Before we went inside their house mom came out to get the mail and their mail box almost fell off! It was pretty funny and the house mom took it in stride and made a little joke about it, which actually calmed my nerves as well as someone the girls nerves around me. We did some coloring and it was really fun! The girl I talked to was amazing, we talked about how fake other people were starting to get, how the PNMs would say anything they thought the members would like rather than saying what they actually thought! I defiantly knew this house was going to be towards the top. When I left I felt really good about it, I even hugged the girl goodbye and told her I really hoped to see them the next day!
That night when it was time to rank the houses I knew right away what I was going to do.

I did have a hard time choosing which one to put at #5. I knew Claire wasn’t for me at all but the things that had happened in Boone that day made me rank them the lowest, especially since the Claire girls had been nothing but nice to me all week!
The next day was preference day where we would be asked back to 3 houses max!
I'm not sure how many people are reading this but can anyone guess what school I rushed at?
