What I want to know is what kind of tools were being used in her surgery b/c this disease is so rare, that I had once read that there was only 1 other case in U.S.

There have been three other cases in the US, but the victims contracted the disease outside of the county--two in the U.K., one in Saudi Arabia.

My concern is not what kind of tools (it was gastro bypass, so I got a pretty good idea,) but how in the heck did an instrument get contaminated???

I was at Virginia State University yesterday. The Deltas and Ques had a tribute for Ms. Vinson yesterday afternoon. I am from Portsmouth also. So I am awaiting further details.
