HC I am at work, but I plan to leave early today?
HC I'm leaving early for a pedicure and manicure?
HC this is my first one for the spring?
HC I recommend pedicures for every woman?
HC pedicures for everyone, just tell them to charge it to my account ?
HC I'm out like a fat girl in dodge ball?
HC I'm out like a drag queen in 'Frisco?
HC I just found out that my friend from high school is a drag queen?
HC he makes a REALLY pretty woman?
HC he looks better than me, and I AM A WOMAN?

HC, as usual, I see some of the same colleagues around the same time at the same spot?
HC, this particular morning it was gray, drizzling, foggy at 6:55 AM?
HC, I'm going down this 4 lane highway approaching my school?
HC it's not uncommon to see students walking to school ON THE SIDEWALK?
HC, as colleagues are going down this highway/street, this ONE student is in the middle of the right hand lane?
HC I told you it was gray/foggy/drizzlilng?
HC she had her hand extended out as if she were doing a routine for "Stop in the name of Love"?
HC all traffic swerved into the left lane?
HC when I passed, I was
?
HC I realized who she was?
HC I was too outdone?
HC this chick was standing there in the middle of the street thinking someone was going to pick her up?
HC in the MIDDLE OF THE STREET and LESS than 100 feet from the school?
HC she was out there for like 20 minutes?
HC this girl has issues?
HC she begs students for their food?
HC she eats food out of the garbage can in the cafeteria?
HC she has SERIOUS EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS?
HC I didn't pick her up?
HC 1: she has issues?
HC2: I didn't know if she had "flipped out"?
HC3: student or no student, she could have tried something?
HC 4: I along with other colleagues that got there before me kept going?
HC when I got to work, everyone was talking about her and what she was out there doing?
HC I said, all that time she was trying to stop traffic, she could have been at school?
HC once she made it to school, she was sent directly to the disciplinarian?
HC she said she missed the bus and her mother was gone, so she needed a ride to school?
HC she is lucky to be alive?
HC all it would have taken was for one driver to not have been paying attention and she would have been on the front hood of a vehicle like that old Grandma was on the intro of the Wayans Brothers?
HC ya'll, it was funny, but sad at the same time?
HC? HC? HC?
HC I've been meaning to respond to this?
HC I would call child protective services for this girl because she really needs some help?
HC anyone that eats out of the garbage has some SERIOUS problems?
HC she should have been sent to the counselor?
HC I hate to see children suffer?

HC I can't even understand the idea that if I can't "stand" someone, that means I "hate" them?
HC what's that all about?
HC I'm sooooooo happy that we know how to handle situations of THAT magnitude over here?
HC peeps need to establish some "Shedding the Light" or something? LMAO!

HC I agree there should be some type of "guidelines" established?
HC When someone posts a thread titled "Thank You" people start arguing in it ?!
HC I agree, once again, w/ 2D: "I can't stand" DOES NOT EQUAL "I Hate"!!!
HC Some folks need to go ask somebody!!!
HC I agree w/ most of what Blackwatch said!!
HC People always wanna be "PC" to avoind taling about controversal topics, that obviously need to be discussed!!!
HC As long as someone VOICES THEIR OPINION IN A RESPECTFUL manner, then I'm cool?!

HC I want to know if anyone has heard of the "old South" party?
HC I didn't know what it was, until I asked the question in the thread titled "Old South"?
HC it is a tradition @ Southern schools where frat members dress up as confederate civil war soldiers and their escorts dress up as southern belles?
HC I'm remember seeing a pic of this in my sister's yearbook when she attended Delta State Univ.?
HC I am about this?
HC I can understand that it's fun to play "dress up" but on the other hand, knowing what the "old south" stands for why would you go for this?
HC I think I'm going to post that question?
HC I'm probably be accused of starting racial tension?
HC I guess that will make me the Al Sharpton of GC?
HC the only thing me and Al Sharpton have in common is that we both like Jame Brown and the same relaxer?
HC ?????

I started to bring that up, re: the OLD SOUTH?
I don't like seeing that IN MY FACE?
I bet folks would be about our issue with that?
they can do/say stuh, but we can't?
you and I are on the same page?
I'm already coined "militant" at my job?
I don't have a problem with it at all?
peeps should pm or email the moderator of THAT forum and tell them they don't like what they SEE?
WHAT IS GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER?

Cool Devil's Advocate

The flipside of that "Old South Party" coin is African-American college groups sponsoring "Slave Auctions". Does that sound familiar to any of yall? Have your particular organization ever sponsored such an "auction"?

HC I never realized that I hadn't worn pants on C, M, or E until just now?
HC hmmmmmmm?
HC I'm partial to churches that ALLOW you to wear pants?
HC If it's not in that church's protocol, then wear your dress/skirt?

HC our church does not frown on that?
HC he just doesn't want us to wear jeans, unless it's an announced casual day?
HC quite a few people wear dress pants at our church?

HC my school has a Valentine's Dating Auction every year?
HC there was much drama surrounding it?
HC the "school psychologist" (I don't know her title) spoke out against it?
HC she was like "I thought the students here were educated, I can't believe that they would support something like this" (paraphrasing)?
HC I didn't attend, but I still didn't see any problem with it?
HC she said a whole lot, but never really explained why she was against it?

HC I really want to know what's wrong with a dating auction?
HC will somebody who is against them please respond because I would love to know?
