Truth Hurts comes out June 11th. Umm...yeah Eminem is a definite, I love it! Let's see...the music scene is looking rather sparse just lately. Did you know that you can earn points on movies too? (*ahem* *cough* Memento )
Dang, there really isn't that much good music out! Sad!

CrimsonTide4, you are right on the money about the new Kirk Franklin CD. I finally listen to the CD last week, and I have been telling people about it ever since. My favorites are Hosanna (which my choir has learned to sing!), Brighter Day, When We Get There and As Long As Your Blood is Red
Now I have to rub my two nickels together so I can buy the CD for myself

The song I'm really liking right now is "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones. It's a real smooth jazzy tune. I don't know what the rest of the album is like but because I like that song so much I may break my rule of a CD having at least three songs I like before buying.

I am feeling most of Soror Sweetest Diva's list. I have been in a rock/classic rock mood for a minute though. Today I am bangin:
Chris Cornell "She's GOing to Change The World"
Incubus "Warning"
Chad Kroeger "Hero"
JIMMY EAT WORLD "Sweetness" and "The Middle"
The Hives "Find Yourself Another Girl"
Crowded House "Don't Dream It's Over"
Peter Gabriel "In Your Eyes"
Beatles- With The Beatles
Remy Zero "Save Me"
Red Hot Chili Peppers "My Friend" "Soul to Squeeze"
Also, for the Morpheus/Kazaa people, have you discovered these "bubbling" remixes yet? Just type in bubbling under search and you get a loooot of songs. Some of those are HOT- I downloaded a remix of Say My Name that was to the Silly Ho beat and it was ill. Also a lot of Craig David reggae mixes. I like!

Soror lovelyivy84, I have been jamming the "bubbling" remixes for awhile. My favorite is Aaliyah's "Try Again" to Destiny's Child "No, No, No" beat. They fit in an odd sort of way, and then they throw in a verse from DMX "What's My Name"... I like most of these mixes.
Oh, and I noticed an omission from my list. Just for my dirty south people, Lil' Flip's "This Is The Way We Ball."

Hey ladies! I know a few of us talked about music-trading sites before. I just wanted to let you all know that AudioGalaxy has been shut down! Y'all remember when I posted about being scared that it was coming? Well, they finally did it. I don't know if it will be back up. I did find a new site. It's called WinMX. You can find it at:

You can find it at: www.winmx.com It's seems to be just like Napster. I have yet to use it, but when I do, I'll let you know how it works. Has anyone else used this site or know of any others? Let me know.

Are there any songs you recommend? I just tried the "bubbling" search (I'm on Kazaa, by the way) so I guess I'll just do trial and error. I'm sure I'll find something.
Thanks for the tip. I have been on Kazaa for a minute and had no idea about this!

Amerie is fire y'all...I got a sampler and some other songs that are hot are "I Just Died," and "All I Have."
A song I am ashamed to admit that I like is that chick Nivea's song with Jagged Edge. I do not know what it is called, something about messing with her man. Sigh. Just too catchy.
Today I bought Turth Hurts and NORE. Truth Hurts is RAW. She lives up to her name. The album is not the best CD ever, but she does keep it real. Some songs that are really good are "This Feeling," "Tired," and "BS". I am mad that she, too, has a song about masturbation. It is like the PMS wave a minute ago I guess. I am also mad that the Addictive remix is not on this album, it is hot!
I am thinking about taking NORE back. He used to be my boy and I am really feeling "Nothing" but the rest of this album SUCKS!
