I agree concentrate on academics. Plus I know most community colleges have an academic fraternity Phi Theta Kappa, which could look really good when you transfer, but you have to have good grades to get in.
Agreed! Phi Theta Kappa is great organization to be a part of that looks good on you resume in regards to academics. When I went through the membership process I had many nice compliments about being an alumna of Phi Theta Kappa.
