LOL!! We HAD to show up! Did Kris and Sherida come to the restaurant? I'm sorry I missed them. We went downtown with the Law Center Sorors for dinner. We broke free from the jealous mistress (the law) for a few hours. We HAD to represent for the FIRST and FINEST!!

Awww, shoot!! I had been counting down the days until I could say it's my AKAversary. It finally came, and I haven't been on GC in 2 days! 
March 18 was my AKAversary!! One year ago, I had the Light within my grasp, and it's still shining brightly!!! I look forward to many, many more!!!

Two years ago on this day six women from different walks of life joined together with one common mission. Together we entered into the best sisterhood in existence, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Two years later this group consists of 6 college graduates, 3 graduate students, over 1500 hours of community service, chapter leadership, graduate chapter involvement, and so much more, but most of all...sisterhood. To God be the glory!

2 Years ago today,
112 S. I. S. T. E. R. S. were born into AKA.
From many different paths,
desiring to serve the greater good,
we came together in the name of sisterhood.
It's my AKAversary! It was a beautiful thing to turn one as Alpha Kappa Alpha was turning 100.
Now, I need to go ahead and get myself that birthday gift I have been eyeing.
