I got an e-mail reminder about this today and clicked the link in the e-mail to pay...but then I got nervous because the URL it linked me to didn't have anything about Delta Gamma in the actual address, even though other things on the form looked official (i.e. using the new logo, etc.). I was just wondering if anyone else got this e-mail, and if I can go ahead and use the online form to pay without worrying that it's some kind of really clever spam?
ETA: If I wanted to join the alumnae group in my area, would I make my dues payment through them instead of paying directly to EO? I haven't looked into joining the Augusta group before but it looks like we'll be in the CSRA for a while so I'd like to join up with them if I could.
Edited Again to Add...Oops! I went to Anchors Online and clicked the "Pay Your Dues" link, and guess what! Same exact URL as I got in the e-mail reminder. Ha. But my second question still stands. Any takers?

As I understand it, you can now designate your alumnae chapter when you pay your dues online, or they may do it automatically based on your zip code--so you will show up as a paid member of that chapter. But it would be nicer if you paid your alumnae chapter directly because they typically ask for a few dollars extra to pay their chapter costs.
(You could pay your per capita dues to EO online and pay your alumnae chapter their additional "dues" separately.)

I too got an email reminder, but I'm concerned because I paid my dues for what I thought was this year. I sent that as a reply to the email and they replied back that my money had not shown up as being paid by the local alum group.
Hmm.

Check with the alum group's treasurer. Sometimes they only send them in 2 or 3 times a year, not every time someone pays. Or she may have accidently left you off the list.

When did you pay? DG works on a calendar more similar to a school calendar -- July to June--so if you paid in the spring of 07, you paid for 06-07, not 07-08.
