I had never heard of the term "hotboxing" until GC. It was never a
rule at my campus that X number of sisters may not talk to a PNM at the same time, but just
common sense that if you have more than 3 sisters talking to a PNM at a time, it will make her uncomfortable. I find it hard to believe that a chapter would think that having 8 sisters talking to a PNM at once would be to their
advantage.
When I watched the YouTube video from Northwestern, the Rho Gamma defined hotboxing as two or more sisters talking to a PNM at once. How can you transition if you can't have two sisters talking to a PNM at once? Does an active just say to the PNM, "See that redhead across the room? Go talk to her, we can't hotbox you and bring her over here"?
