Hi ladies. I feel like our alumnae association is slowly dying a slow death. It seems like no matter what we do to try to attract new alums, or when we plan it, there is a very small turn-out to events. (And it's usually the same small group of people).
I am somewhat guilty because I've moved out of the immediate area where most of the events are held, but even when we plan things in the suburbs, no one comes to those either.
We do have a lot of ideas to try to attract fresh blood, but I am just curious to what everyone else has done to get "out of a membership rut". Feel free to chime in from other organizations as well
.
We've located a lot of alumnae but it seems like there's always an "excuse" as to why they can't attend things. Even when we follow people's suggestions, and times/locations they would go to stuff, they STILL don't show.
Just feeling very unmotivated and discouraged about the future of our organization
