CU Buffs

I was a part of the group that helped re-establish Chi Delta back in 1980. I remember the drive from Kearney and the house was just gorgeous. I had to play "The Rose" on the piano and was so nervous! We had our picture taken with the National President and this Nebraska girl rushed people from all over the U.S. Not what we were used to for our rush from Kearney State (now UNK)

Sorry to see that it closed.

When I was Alumnae Relations Chair, there was a group of about 15 women that pledged during the re-establishment in 1980 who came back to campus for a mini reunion. I got to take them for a tour of the campus & our house (which had a huge addition in 1989).

The girls from Kearney also came out to help with recruitment during the last few years (2005 & 2006), as well as the women from Northern Colorado. Hopefully, we will return to campus when the timing permits.
