I lived in Northwestern's SAI house its first year of existence: 1992. (I suppose that makes me old by undergrad standards?) It was neat - although I wish we had had food service in the building. Still, my DZ house was right across the yard on the quad, so I would eat dinner there most nights. And it sure came in handy one time when the SAI house had no hot water - just dash over to the DZ shower rooms!

I don't know if you've seen recent pictures, but it was redecorated a few years ago....it's all in neutral tones with accents of red. Much better than the pink and green leftover from the 80s! The fireplace is also red and brown now, as opposed to many, many, many layers of white and green paint.
