I don't blame Kate for breaking down. I was surprised that it took 10 hours and 1 missed approach for it to happen. I liked how she said that a lot of people think they're crazy for taking a vacation like that with the kids, but she's right -- why deny the kids this experience when they're given this great opportunity? And did you see the guy sitting in the last row? I wonder what his Southwest experience was like that day! The kids must have enjoyed riding the "hair pain"!
I also liked how Kate precautionary measures in protecting the 6 pack -- taking black tape to cover their first names on their backpacks. It's a scary thought thinking strangers could lure the babies like that.
And poor Alexis! I didn't know she slept in the basement away from everyone because she wakes up the other kids.

I didn't sleep in my own room in my own bed until I was 5, I think. At least the basement at night isn't too scary for her!
The e-mail episode was also funny. It's nice how Jon and Kate can be so open and candid like that. "Our children DO sleep!" I mean, can you imagine the Duggars talking about how they make time for intimacy?
