Any nurses out there?

I'm seriously considering going back to school and getting a nursing degree. I have my Masters in Plant Pathology, and as much as I love some aspects, I am tired of being in a lab by myself all day. I want to actually see people, and maybe even help them!

I have a few questions for you: What do you like about nursing? What don't you like? What are your work hours like? What specialty do you work in? Was it difficult to get into nursing school? Anything else you can think of that might be helpful for me in making my decision?

Looking into programs in my area, it seems I would have two options. One would be an Associates degree and one a Bachelor's. Which one would be the better option?

Thanks!!!

Check out www.discovernursing.com and www.allnursingschools.com I've definately been thinking about getting a BSN/RN. They also have BSN/MSN bridge programs.
