They added text to certain scenes explaining the importance of the scene or background info on how / why the scene was shot. These messages would pop up at the bottom left of the screen.

maybe she stayed on the island but wanted Aaron to have a normal life or something?? Maybe Claire dies idk..but i kinda figured she had him ever since a few episodes back. i just wanna know wth happened to the helicopter!
