We weren't allowed to have Sunny Delight when I was a kid.
My mom would only buy real 100% juice. She refused to buy anything from the non-refridgerated juice aisle (plastic-bottled apple juice, grape juice, cranberry juice, fruit punch, etc.). She would only buy orange juice (with pulp) or the Dole juices (ex: orange-strawberry-banana). Other than juice, the only other thing we would have to drink is milk.
And I'll admit that I'm one of those people that will water down juice (if it's the plastic-bottled juices). Sometimes I'll get the diet juices (like diet V8 splash) because they're not as sweet. But I don't like the artificial sweetener aftertaste.
I think I've only had Kool-aid a handful of times, like at a friend's birthday party or something like that.
