A topic I can relate too

My hours are suppose to be 8:30-5:00 but I have fashionablely(is that word?) changed my hours to 8:45-4:30ish and still manage to get paid for 8 but that is another thread

A flat tire is good for a few hours late. You have to wait for AAA to come and fix it.

It is now cold outside so you could have "accidently" locked your keys in the car while starting it....again you a)need to wait for mom, boyfriend, or someone to bring you the spare keys b)wait on the locksmith....again this gives you a few hours.

To leave early, if you have a direct line, say your child's daycare/school called. Your child is ill and needs to be picked up ASAP. Next day you can say you will be a few hours late child had a fever and they must wait 24 hours before they can return to school. Again you just left early and you get to sleep in.

If you stay out to late on a work night when you get home from the club at 3:30am or 4:30ish just call your job right then and there and say look I have been up all night with little Kenny he has a fever and has been puking all night pause...in the phone No Kenny don't puke on the floor make it to the toliet...I'm sorry excuse me but like I said I have been up all night with my sick Kenny so I will a)be in later after I get some sleep b) won't be in. Therefore, your drunk behind can go sleep in peace without having to worry about waking up in a few hours to call in.

During May when it tends to rain and thunderstorm alot. Your power went out and you overslept.

December-February with below normal temps your car won't start or the snow has you blocked in. You can always blame the city for not plowing your street or apartment complex.

Anytime excuse...you just can't make it through the rest of the day...those with alarm systems. ADP or Brinks called and my alarm is going off with a so and so code and I need to go check it out because the police will meet me there. BAM again gone for the day since you already drove 20 minutes to get home no use to going back your HOME!!!
