DGPhony, I think, the LXA chapter is up and crawling but back on campus. It is always hard to come back after taken off. If you can shed some light, I would appreciate it!
Bought some items from a Brother ( # 7 ) from Towson U. He told me they have started again! I hope so as I beleive the more Greeks on campus the better!
Greeks have more fun, and do more than anyone on any campus!

Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Delta Tau Delta's oldest continuous chapter -- Beta.
See Matt Lauer's story on Ohio University from the TODAY Show at www.msnbc.com/news/577498.asp#BODY
Has nothing to do with Greeks, but is a nice story about the univesity.

DGPhoney, I hope the LXA chapter was one of them! They are on back on campus getting re-institued after having been taken off campus!
I have met # 7 in cyber and he and I have close feelings since I am # 1. We understand what it is to start something! It aint to hard, BUTT! We are all in the same boat trying to keep our Houses going because of the PC of campuses! Without US there would not only be much of a homecoming but any thing else!!!!!

Tom...
Yea it is a great time for Sig Tau. We are doing so amazing here at IUP. We doubled our numbers in one year, we chartered, and we moved to a house right off of Fraternity Row, on the main street at IUP. It is so exciting, we are on our way to being IUP's strongest and biggest fraternity again. We had that title from 1930 to 1986. We pledged 90+ guys in four semesters in the 1950's. We have a huge philanthropy event with Delta Zeta planned for the fall, and we are getting ready to take this campus by storm.

I was a Sig Tau at U of I. I think we've spoken before...my user name used to be "Alumnus who cares" but I changed it.
I assume your last post contained a typo and that you really don't "hate" lots of Greek and non-Greek friends at U of I. : )
