My boyfriend is officially a brother..

Soo my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years just crossed over and is officially in a fraternity. I'm not in a sorority nor am I planning on pledging at this time.

I was a little skeptical at first when I heard he wanted to pledge and we had some problems incl. strip clubs and so on which pretty much fulfilled my worst fears. But over all i'm happy for him because he's made some great friends.

My question involves dropping/pinning/etc..
Is dropping strictly between two members of a greek society? I overheard him talking to someone about "they can only wear our letters if they're a dream girl"? We are completely in love and have talked about marriage. Does this mean I can't ever wear his letters? Or is there some way to become closer to him and his fellow brothers?

Thanks!

well, only dream girls can wear letter, generally speaking

the exception would be, depending on chapter, if you were married/engaged, but even then...

he can give you a lavalier if you are that serious

If your boyfriend just became a member of his fraternity, I would "chill" on the whole pinning/dropping/etc. process. Let him get acclaimated to his new responsibilities.

Also, you said that your "worst fears" were fulfilled during his pledge process. Why are you still with him, then?
