Anyway, if you want to have an active social life at FIU then you pretty much have no choice than to be affiliated.

Coming from someone who had the majority of my success as a non-affiliated woman (I rushed later than most), I really disagree with this statement. It helps, yes, but I had a pretty active social life either way. Especially considering less than 1% of our campus is affiliated.

I just don't want people to get the wrong idea about FIU, and I know my twin-in-crime, BabyPink, feels the same.
