To All My Illustrious Sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha,

There is no sisterhood like ours, what a blessing to be one of the few to be an Alpha Kappa Alpha woman and to be able to call you all my sorors, here's to 100 years of service to all mankind. From those nervous undergrad moments where I could only imagine what is was like to be in "the know" to the realization that we are the most beautiful women on this earth. I am blessed to be with you....

The day has *FINALLY* come, and I am *SO* overjoyed! Tears well up in my eyes when I reflect upon the legacy of our beloved sorority. Words cannot express how honored I am to be a part of our sisterhood.

Today, we stand strong and proud. Proud of the vision fair that our Founders saw 100 years ago. A legacy strong, unbreakable by any organization and any being. A sisterhood created to foster friendships, mentor women, and be of supreme service to all mankind.

Sorors, if only they knew 100 years ago tonight the impact they would have on the world.

From the east coast of the United States of America, I want to wish all of my Sorors and Ivies Beyond the wall that didn't make it WORLDWIDE --- HAPPY * * * * * * * * CENTENNIAL* * * * * * * * FOUNDERS' DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorors, 100 years ago today, our Founders set out to capture a vision fair. What a dynamic group - African-American women IN COLLEGE and studying subjects ranging from PHYSICS to CLASSICAL LANGUAGES IN 1908!!

Their efforts manifested itself into the most illustrious, most elite, most dynamic sisterhood in the world.

Greetings my BEAUTIFUL SORORS of ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY, INNNCORPORATED!!!

I am overwhelmed with tears and joy to have the HONOR and PRIVILEGE of celebrating not only my FIRST Founder's Day in less that two months after crossing, but to have surpassed 13 years of active pursuit and go beyond the veil of this illustrious sisterhood for our Centennial Celebration. Thousands didn't make it...I'm one of the ones that did!! I am SOO thankful for our Founders who not only had a vision, but CAPTURED a vision and established a legacy of beautiful, service-driven, poised, educated, venerated, sophisticated, often imitated, but NEVER duplicated Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Who knew 100 years ago that the vision of our guiding light, Soror Ethel Hedgeman Lyle, would evolve into an organization that impacted not only the community and nation, but the WORLD. I learn and am inspired from our Twenty Pearls DAILY. Sorors, with God we can have anything, do anything and be ALL things. We are the créme de la créme - the best of the best. We come from a legacy of pioneers and visionaries; of women who not only dare to dream but BECOME the dream. We strive AND we do.

I LOVE YOU MY BEAUTIFUL SORORS!!

Now go rock your ESP...Every Stitch of Para and raise that pinky with pride!!! This is OUR DAY!!
