I tell you, though...this team supports his decision 100%.
We're sad at his departure because he's taken the team where it's never been before. He's also done wonders to turn the program around.
I really don't think it was about the money. The whole state appreciates him, so I don't understand why he couldn't get any respect from UH Administration. Coach Jones and Colt Brennan had to pull teeth just to get soap for the team showers.
And have you SEEN our practice fields?
Next thing on UH's to-do list: Get rid of the Athletic Director.
