Odd... since according to ZTA's website, they alone have 191,000 members. I think your math's off.

I did a Google of "1 in 4 sorority women is a Chi Omega" and I stumbled on 3 XO chapter websites. A GC thread also came up: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=80874
My guess is that Miss paige_elise89 probably got her data from various chapter websites. To this day, I still find on some Alpha Gam chapter websites that Betty White, Madonna, and Carly Simon are some of Accomplished Alpha Gams (untrue, DUH). It's like playing a game of telephone -- chapter webmasters see this info on other chapter sites and automatically assume that it's true. They pass on this information by posting it on their own websites and continue the untruths.
This isn't meant to belittle Chi Omega in any way. It's wonderful to be proud of your sorority's accomplishments, but there really isn't a need to take such a boastful and haughty tone when showing pride for your organization.

Back (sort of) to the topic - when did NPCs start doing hand signs? I see them on a lot of websites. Are they official? (To the best of my knowledge, there are no Gamma Phi ones. Well, you can make your hand into a "c" for a crescent, but that looks like you are about to break into "C is for Cookie".)

I was wondering the same thing about handsigns. We never did them. I am pretty sure that AOII doesn't have an official handsign-- but I do see allot of chapter websites with women doing similar handsigns. On a side note, we do have an official whistle but I have only heard it once- it wasn't something we did (and I couldn't do it even if I wanted to!).

I've seen a lot of deltas, using forefingers and thumbs, in pictures but the Trident won't accept pictures with them in it. So I don't think it's official, at least for us.

Calls (whistles)
I think many of the NPCs have whistles - we just don't use them like they did 100 years ago. (I THINK I remember Gamma Phis!)
