I'm going on the premise that you are legit and have just had a drink or 2 before posting so...

If you honestly would tell the girls what the "best" and "worst" sororities are, you need to resign as a Rho Gamma NOW. They are supposed to be impartial, even if you think you're "helping" someone.

Your best bet at this point is to come down with a weeklong illness (something gross and contagious like pinkeye would be good) that prevents you from having any role in rush, period.

what a disaster!! i told my exec today and it did not go well. it could be worse i guess. before i could even tell her i was going to resign myself (thank you 33 and everyone else for helping me make a hard choice) she started yelling and made it into this HUGE deal that i was selected.
i might as well have been the wicked witch from the east!! so she yelled at me to quit being so selfish which doesnt even have anything to do with this and resign. i told her i wanted to and that i tried to tell her but she didnt believe me. now shes going to tell the entire exec and i will have to go to standards!! for coming clean!!
i dont tell them half the stuff that goes on and thank goodness because they would probably hang me in public!!!
im just waiting for this to blow over but thanks to everyone for the helpful advice i think i just needed some encouragement!!

If they threaten you with standards call your adviser and talk to her. Be clear that you would like to be a Ro Ghamma or whatever they are calling it now. Threatening you with standards is stupid.

Well, considering her subsequent posts, it may have nothing to do w/ her looks - more like they don't want her to be saying stupid shit to the rushees because even though she's disaffiliated, when the rushees say "oh and by the way, RushLeader08 told me XYZ is the best sorority" it will still come back on the chapter.
