And you "lose" points by continuing to spell losing incorrectly. I've not mentioned it previously, but it's happened in several of your posts, so I thought I'd be helpful and bring it up now.

Spelling bothers me too but I've learned not to care so much on teh intarwebs - most people, myself included, tend to think faster than they type and so mistakes are inevitable. The edit button and I are pretty tight.
AF, thanks for the comment. For once, a non-snarky remark. I didn't know you had it in you. *tear* Don't let it happen too often though, people might think you've gone soft, lol.

To pile on or not to pile on?
Grabbing popcorn and watching is still okay, right? That's what I've been doing . . . (goes back to lurking)

Wow. I've had The Dumbz lately. I'm blaming it on the holidays.

teh is "leet speak" used here only to make fun of others
Teh Cult refers to a person who referred to the snarky girls of GC as a "cult" (in which case I should be richer) and it was so silly a thread was formed welcoming all to the cult.
Intarwebs probably refers to one of those politicians who tried to sound intelligent about the internet and failed, but I'll have to look it up. Either way it's another stupid saying that gets used in fun. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interweb.
Oh and spelling it with the A is just one more reference to leetspeak.

The actual TEH CULT thread was deleted or moved, but there's a bit of it here.

And, just because it's the holidays...TEH CULT t-shirt design.
I'm not explaining anything on it, so don't ask. It's secret ritual info.

"Let them slide for a few years" - Meaning, they are newly back on campus, and will not be held to your organizations Southern guidelines until they have been on campus for a number of years and re-established themselves.
Thus the "free pass" statement.

I understand some "locations" now.
And I'm no ritual expert, but my guess for the salt shaker (besides the rimming of the cocktail glasses of course) is that it represents GCers need to take things with a "grain of salt" and/or a reference to those who clearly can't or don't... guess I can't get confirmation of that without getting killed or needing to offer a first-born or something, though, huh?
