yes. it's true. it was also a featured story on mtvnews.com at the time. he took a spoon and just gouged it out of his head was my undersanding. He said afterward that he was relieved because apparently something was wrong in his life and he didn't know what to do...so I guess he wanted to do something physical to help his mental. Whatever...Anyways, I've never heard this HIV+ story...
