I am starting to feel like the roses are a cop-out and sorta....eh. Like, roses. Come on. Not very inspired. Very hetero.

But I feel like sunflowers are gross and not everyone would actually LIKE sunflowers. Sure, they have more meaning, but...sunflowers? I would like them. Especially because of the meaning.

On a more decisive note they're going to be hand delivered by a friend/APO brother of mine to his birthday party, since I won't be there. (They live in the same city -- I don't. Don't worry, APO brother won't steal him from me)
Eek, tough call. Ok I say the sunflowers, but would it work to stick one deep red rose in there, one that would match the burgundy ribbon or coordinate? It would symbolize the same as two dozen while having more meaning by being in the "field" of sunflowers.

I like the idea of sunflowers with some roses placed in between them.
