Sphinxpoet is so right. Even though he actually didn't sleep with Lila, he told her that to stop the argument. She believes in her head that he did, so she would never believe him when he says he didn't. And it really didn't help that Lila was acting all guilty like something "really did happen," by telling Max to go talk to Kenny.

Lila "acted guilty" to make things worse. She hopes that by throwing gas on a fire, Max and Kenny will break up and it will be easier for her to slide on in.
Or....
She could be the type of person that likes that type of challenge. Once the marriage is busted up, the "fun and thrill" is over and she's looking for the next married man.
