To those of you with all-black cats - does your cat have an "udder" belly? Like it hangs but it's not blubbery? My friend used to be a vet tech and said some black cats belong to the Burmese or Bombay families and it's a trait. Anyway, we always make fun of my boy's jelly belly.

Salem is 7 months and he is already developing one. It jiggles when he runs and it makes me laugh. The black cat I had growing up also had one.

My cat has an "udder belly" too. She is not black. She is an orange, brown, and black tabby. I always joke and call it her "swinging fat sack". My cat is also a runt which is the reason for her really short legs.

YES when he runs it wobbles back and forth. It's most hilarious! We call him "belly boy", which I don't think he likes but it's so dang cute!

YES! I always wondered what was up with that-- my non-black cats don't have it so I always wondered if it was because of his surgery he had as a kitten (he had an undecended testicle so when he went to be neutered, they had to open him up to find it). Now I know!

SWTXBelle, Kaiser Chief is soooo adorable! I love bulldogs and boxers, so he had my heart at first sight. He reminds me of Hot Lips, the late boxer of my very BFF from high school. We loved that dog. They are so sweet natured.

Thanks, scbelle. Kaiser is just a big baby who thinks he is a lap dog. It's kinda funny when people pull up and he goes out in the yard. He acts so tough - but the minute they get out of the car he goes into wigglebutt mode. He's great with my boys, too. When they were putting a new roof on my house (thanks, tornado), the roofers pointed out that Kaiser always positioned himself between them and my boys. He is scared to death of Piglet, which is funny.

I absolutely LOVE that you had a pet chicken. That is tooo cool. In our gated community we have wild peacocks and one black chicken that run around. It's really funny, it's like he thinks he's a peacock!
