My favorite line so far is Mary's mother when lecturing Mary for separating from her husband,
"But I do know this- Even if you ARE miserable living with him, it's the only way you're going to be happy!"
Loved Martha Shumway (Dody Goodman). I remember one episode where Heather, Mary's daughter, got caught with weed, and Martha got all hysterical: "She was smoking a joint—or maybe it was a knucklebone!"
