The reason why I haven't was because it really won't convince the dissenters, it will only open other doors for them to make other unrelated personal attacks later.

Have you noticed that the biggest dissenters have been the most offensive towards me? That isn't a coincidence, they have an personal axe to grind, and this is NOT the time or the place.

Yeah, I can post the emails, but all that would happen is that the dissenters would pick it apart and overanalyze or read into some trivial detail(s), which would only make for some other nonsense to flame me on later, and right now I am NOT in the mood for such.

You know, if you'd just stop posting, you'd do a lot to convince people that you're not just attention whoring.

You KNEW there'd be people who either flat out didn't believe you, or would at least question your story (especially since, from what I have heard, it doesn't quite line up with the story you gave on another board) so why even start the thread here? You can't convince me that you weren't attention whoring, even if the story happens to be true.

Bottom line, either you believe me or you don't. I am not going to get into a battle over the validity of the thread topic because I don't owe anyone here an explanation for anything, especially considering how out of pocket some folks have been in how they approached me.

I swear, this is about as bad as the Phelps family picketing funerals of US troops. You don't have to agree with the war or the US military, but you shouldn't be intentionally disrespectful to the family of the deceased either.

Several things:

One, yes I did go to a party after I heard the news and posted a pic on it. I did it to take my mind off the loss. YEAH I DID IT (and I'll do it again if I think I need to) and if anybody has a problem with it, too bad!!

Two, what slimy comment about a woman's picture did I make?

Three, if your prayers for mine and my ex's loss are going to be half-hearted, or out of snarkiness or mean-spiritedness, save your time and efforts. I don't want them, and the Lord won't receive them (and you're making a mockery of God's true spirit of prayer).
