"I give your sorority a year before it folds" (We began a new local sorority 3 years ago, and still going strong)
"I don't have to buy my friends" (that's a great one)
"How much do you love it?"
"How scared should I be for Rush/Pledge.... like... hazing?"
"Are the parties as crazy as the ones depicted on movies?"
"Oh, I know what a sororty is about...."
My response to that: "what based on stereotypes presented in movies and television?"
Other than this I get asked a lot of questions by potential rushees that really makes me proud to be a DAT girl.

Me: Correct, I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Random person: "Won't you get in trouble for wearing pink? Those are ya'll's enemies."
Me:  Oh yeah, I forgot. I can only wear crimson & cream. Thanks for reminding me.

Has anyone (particularly NPHC'ers) ever gotten this one?

They aren't the only ones..... you have individuals who may have denounced their membership in orgs after reading some "Wake up! Your mind in enslaved" book and the next thing you know, they now want to spread the good word.

Just thought of something that happened just a little while ago. I had made a presentation on a college campus in the northeast and was leaving with my sorors. I was in a business suit and they were wearing their jackets. Other Greeks were also walking in the general direction I was going.
As we all passed by a group of girls, I heard one of them say, "I feel a step coming on" or something to that effect. I had no clue what the child was talking about until one of my sorors told me she was referring to us Greeks. LOL! Oooo k.
