What in the world is wrong with you people?
I love love love so many of the foods mentioned (sushi, seafood, cheesecake, spicy foods, beer, wine, champagne, pb&j, stuffing, tofu, soy milk, chocolate).
I don't like mayo, mustard (though I like honey mustard dipping sauce for chicken nuggets), pickles, eggplants, asparagus, mushrooms, anything seasoned with dill (both the smell and the taste make me feel queasy), scallions (though I like leeks and chives), tomatoes, and tart fruit-flavored candies.

it took some "training" but it worked.

ps. personally i'm not a fan of store bought or restaurant carrot cake. my grandma made a mean carrot cake from scratch and i just have never been able to find that in a store bought or restaurant carrot cake. i keep crossing my fingers but i'll usually just end up taking two bites and being disappointed...

I have a lot of food "issues" so there are many things I can't eat...
- Any kind of fish and most other seafood: the smell of tuna literally makes me gag
- Any food that is grilled except for corn heavily wrapped in tin foil: when I was a kid my family teased me that I just didn't like the lines, but I really hate the grill flavor
- Most nuts: except for certain types of peanut butter, or very thinly chopped walnuts or almond that are mixed into other things (ie - cookies, cereal)
- Vitamin D, Skim, or Fat Free Milk: I only like 2% Milk or half and half, everything else tastes watery or too thick
- Beer: I just don't get it...I imagine this is what urine would taste like
- Left overs and most food prepared in the microwave: reheated foods taste awful to me
- Bacon, Mustard, Relish, and Mayo: yuck!

It wasn't until I was old enough to understand what really happened and I almost had died from it. I refused to eat red Jell-O for many years because I thought I had become sick from it.

They arent supposed to give children that have had that procedure red Jell-O for that reason (makes it harder to establish between the Jell-O and blood). You are very lucky they got you to the OR in time!!!
I dont like Ham. I'll eat hot dogs, sometimes sausage and other things with pork in it but I cant stand Ham for whatever reason. I also love pickles and cucumbers but refuse to eat pickle relish. I wont eat anything with paprika on it either.

Oh bacon, bacon, bacon, how I hate it! I won't eat BLTs, bacon garnishes, club sandwiches, plain bacon strips, etc... I hate the taste and texture, and the smell does nothing for me.
I also stopped eating beef for a long time either because I could not get over the taste. It just wasn't very appealing to me. I'll have it on occasion now, but it's just not very often.

- I do not like any milk that is not skim. I have switched to almond milk at home. I ask for my milk based drinks to be made with as lowfat milk as possible. Maybe this is part of the reason why I prefer lowfat/fat-free yogurt, sherbet, and sorbet over ice cream. I do love sour cream and cheese- although I prefer the reduced fat versions.
- I hate bacon with a passion. Well, I dislike pork. It gave me an adverse reaction back in the 6th grade. It royally irks me when they put bacon bits into soups and salads- especially when it is not advertised.

Nuts: I just don't like 'em.
Oatmeal, porridge, cream of wheat, etc: Makes me want to gag.
Rice cakes: Also makes me want to gag. I love rice (it was my downfall back when I did the Atkins diet), but in cake form - forget it. I even get nauseous if someone nearby is eating a rice cake.
Olives: Can't stand 'em. I have sent martinis back when the bartender accidentally uses an olive instead of a twist. (And no, giving me a twist and a spoon to fish out the olive is not acceptable.)
Pickles: Why would anyone want to take a perfectly good cucumber and ruin it?!
Milk: Plain ol' white milk just tastes nasty to me. I take calcium supplements so my bones won't disintegrate in 40 years or so.
And there are a bunch of veggies I can't stand, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who hates brussels sprouts and green beans

I don't eat chicken.
I was attacked by one when I was six and my grandfather grabbed it, cut off its head and they served it for dinner that night.
I kow of at least two other people who had the same or very similar experiences, and they don't eat chicken either.
Honest.

My daddy was one. He grew up on a small farm/florist shop, and loved chicken until he was taught how to kill it. It was easier for him not to eat it than to hear him tell the story while the rest of us were.
Oh, and ditto to whomever hates honey-mustard sauce. I absolutely loathe it, and it seems to be in too many recipes lately!

I don't like olives anymore. I feel out of the loop now because I used to adore them when I was little. I used to love the green ones with the pimento inside. Now I feel funny when I dig them out of a martini. I can't even eat them on pizza

It's not really a food, more like a beverage. I don't like dark roast coffee.

My grandparents had a hen house in their back yard--yep smack dab in the city of St. Louis. We always ate fresh fried chicken cooked in Lard. I have never had chicken that tasted that good since, but I always went to the front of the house to avoid seeing the neck wringing and gutting.
