Timberland boots of any kind with the laces untied and the tag still hanging off the side. You wouldn't catch me dead in those things.

Those ghetto baseball caps that you see 50 cent and these other thuggish jokers wearing. You know, the ones with the straight brim. I would tell a joker to shoot me before I put one of those ragedy things on my head.

Along with the crocs (mentioned many times previously) and the sweater vests, I have to go with the appliqued holiday sweaters. I hate those. They look very school marm/ soccer mom/ old southern lady with too much money and not enough fashion sense.

I was watching Style last night for the 25 Essentials...#15 was a Designer Bag. The commentator said, and I (semi)quote - You can look good wearing a trash bag as long as you're carrying a designer purse. I definitely wear my brown and gold Speedy with darn near every color in the rainbow, lol.

Reminds me of the SATC episode where Carrie said New Yorkers don't wear scrunchies...nobody should wear scrunchies if they're not the Tanners. lol.

I got nauseous at the sight of holiday clothes this past weekend. I've always hated those. They only look good when you're teaching pre-K or primary school.

I will never wear . . .
-fake designer bags. Don't kid yourself - 95% of the time, we can tell. I always used to carry Coach Willis bags - refined, well-made, low-key - but am so tired now of the loud, obnoxious knock-offs.
- low rise jeans. Ye gods - even sweet little things look tacky in those. I don't want to see ANYONE's butt crack or the top of your underwear, thong or no.
-thong - spent my whole life as a dancer trying to keep my leotard from doing THAT.
bikini - four children later, the belly says "no".
spandex - fun in the 80s, now not so much.

But...
But...
I LIKE my snowman sweater...
It makes me happy to wear it.
Or at least it used to...

It's what makes YOU happy that counts! Me personally, I couldn't see myself wearing them. But as long as you love it (and don't take it overboard, like say, one for every day, 20 for each season, etc.), then go for it.

I have a boiled wool jacket with holly embroidered on it. Does that pass the muster?
As for the Second Hand Shop Fashions, we used to have mixers where everyone had to wear something from such a store, then we'd donate everything back again. Probably the only mixer where everyone did their best to keep things looking nice!

Right?
especially if your feet look like you have been kicking up flour...people please...rule #1...if you are gonna wear shoes with your feet hanging out, PLEASE MAY LIBERAL USE of lotion!!
I can't stand people who wear shirts with the belly exposed and the belly is hanging or you can see all the surgery marks....heh
I say no to:
- pants 1/2 sagging falling off the @ss
- cheap payless shoes (fine for college if you didn't have money) if you have a decent job invest in some good shoes....your feet (and lack of bunions will thank you for it)
- No Bill Cosby-ish looking sweaters
- No bling watches that have 10 million functions....date and time is suffice

I have a couple pairs of Tims, but I'm a lady....tie your shoes and remove all tags before leaving the house.
