I hate it when people...

...come to work sick (like with the flu..I can't "afford" to be sick too!!)

...look shocked when I wear colors like red and blue...just because I'm an AKA doesn't mean I don't like other colors

...talking loud on their cell phone (you are not automatically "cool" because you have a cell phone..the 5-block radius of people do not need to be in your conversation...)

...tell me that my daddy must be "dark", because my mom is "bright" and I'm brown...WTF??

bluberi1920, this sounds exactly like my younger sister. She owes me about $300 from when she had her first part time job (in 1995 or '96) and a lousy boyfriend and she was trying to buy him all types of brand name clothes (this last bit of information I didn't know about until I overheard her on the phone with one of her chickenhead friends ). When I found out, I made sure not to ever lend her money again. I was too through with her and her stupid bf and his whining. He turned out to be a spoiled brat who didn't appreciate the clothes she bought for him; he'd throw the clothes on the floor and not wash them, or wait until she's coming over to his house and make his mother wash them. Either way, no matter how many times I'd ask her when I'm going to see even a penny of that money, she'll suck her teeth and look at me like I'm crazy and be like, "Please!?!" I don't even bother asking her when I'm going to be paid back b/c I know it's never going to happen. Sad, but true. Another day gone and another lesson learned.

i am the same way about people that say they are going to do something and they don't. That's definately my biggest peeve also.

Don't say excuse me and reach over you.

Allow their kids to wreck the beauty salon and not say anything to then until the beautician says something.

Put their filthy paws in food that is supposed to be served to everyone and expect me to eat from it.

Don't wash their hands after using the restroom.

Couch all over my neck b/c they didn't cover their mouth. Trying to spread Sars and TB. Yuck!

Ask me why I chose Zeta b/c I don't look or act like one. Please tell me why people are still stuck on silly stereotypes! Get educated!

Im definitly feeling u on that I have dreads and people constantly ask can u wash them? are they hard to manage?

my minor is black studies and people think that Im against every white face on earth too.
