I had a license plate on my car that just said 1908. I was at the car wash one time and a guy came up to me and said "Now I know your car ain't that old, what's that mean?" I told him it was the year my sorority, AKA, was founded. He said "No it isn't. My sister tried to be one back in the early 70s and they wasn't at her school."

Me: No, my sorority is the second oldest in the U.S. and is not historically black it is called Phi Mu
Random Person: Oh...well my friend/cousin/niece/sister/brother's uncle's, cousin's niece's wife's dog's vet is a (insert NPHC name [usually Delta Sigma Theta] here).
Me: That's nice! That is an amazing organization!
Random Person: Akward silence
