There's two or three people who I DON'T want reading my blogs, then there's people who I don't care either way, and the rest I would like for them to read my blogs. I could just add everyone but those two or three, but it would seem awkward (for me) to add the second group (if they knew it). That's because I've kind of lost touch with them, it would seem strange if they suddenly saw a message that I've added them to my preferred list. I don't mind if they read my blogs nevertheless.

I don't think people get messages on whether or not they are put on your preferred list... if those people who you don't want reading your blogs subscribe to your blog though (which you can check when you click "My Readers") they will get an email and myspace message saying someone they are subscribing to has posted a new blog.
If the blog is viewable to preffered friends only, they will see a screen that says "This blog is viewable to preferred friends only" or something to that effect when they try to click on it.

btw- facebook launched an applications section so you can add slideshows, music, etc to your page, its a lot of fun, i've been playing around with it for awhile. If you go to the left side and click on applications- you can update/edit your stuff there.

The girl who runs whateverlife is a 17 year old girl who lives near me. Supposedly she's making FAT cash.

This is me... http://www.myspace.com/Whits01
I read the first 11 pages, and don't have the attention span to read the other 24...is there still a greekchat myspace group? I searched for it and followed all the links and all I got was Invalid Group ID. Try a different ID. If there's not, I'll make one if y'all wanna get one going again.

It's been defunct for a long time. The GCer who started it no longer posts here, and the fact that it's not around is probably a good thing. I know the Group was used to stalk GCers in the past, so I don't know how popular it'd be if you were to start a new one.

Every day. Moreso than Facebook. Though I'm not on it as much these days, it's still a good way to keep in touch with my friends, especially the ones from college.
I doubt it'll be going away anytime soon.

Well we're kind of on the same boat; I use it to keep in touch with friends from high school.
But I think among college students Facebook is more popular than Myspace.

Eh, I think it's more of a personal preference thing than an age thing. I am on Facebook much more, and rarely if ever check my MySpace page. Most of my friends are the same way; even if they had MySpace pages, they are easier to contact on Facebook.
I know people around my age (like OTW, for example), who are just the opposite, and stick with MySpace.

That was true until recently.
Now that Facebook's open to anyone who wants it, I've noticed more and more Myspace friends jumping ship because of Facebook's lack of all the distractions MySpace has (aside from the annoying applications, of course).
I miss the old Facebook Beta of 2003.

Yeah, it depends. But at least on my campus, Facebook is more popular than Myspace. But I can only speak for my school.

When you had to have a college email address to use it. Those were the days.

All these new myspace applications are driving me nuts. I've had so many invites to join the mobsters network, I finally blocked it.
