Has anyone ever trimmed their eyelashes?

Have you tried Neutrogena's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover? I use facial cleansing wipes. Any kind of makeup remover burns the crap out of my eyes. I'm allergic to mascara so I wonder if that has something to do with it?
