It has been there since 2002.......that is editing of my own signature/work and no one has that right since it has been there for a long time and it is not offensive.
Um, actually, John Hammell owns this site and he can delete anything he wants to anytime he wants to for absolutely no reason, if he feels so inclined.

First off, I didn't get an email. and second, why are you questioning my tone? I don't believe i need to dial it down maybe there are others who need to dial their tone down. I just merely asked something and am put on the firing wall for it.

OP, I think your "no one has a right" type language seemed a little silly to people who were around for the initial discussion of signature changes. It was discussed pretty thoroughly, I'd say. Many users were angry about it.
You didn't miss much other than knowing that yours was one of many that were changed and possibly knowing in advance what you need to change if you wanted to keep it.
You can recreate your old one as long as it fits the requirements.
