Sorry that I've been MIA since rush. School and DG has been so hectic!
DG is amazing! I love everyone in my pledge class and all of the older girls are sooooo supportive and caring. We got our bigs about 3 or so weeks ago. I absolutely love my big and my whole family! They are amazing girls who are great role models. We have our NM test on Monday and I'm very nervous about it. I want to be apart of this amazing organization so bad. All of my best college friends are in this organization, and I can't see myself anywhere else. Initiation is in two weeks.
To PNM's
Get personal recs for all the sororities on your campus. One house cut heavily due to recs. I had a rec to DG, and I think that it truly helped because so many girls who were rushing me knew a lot about me. Actually, all of my friends had very good recs for DG too, so make sure you get recs!
DO NOT pay attention to stereotypes. Unfortunately, I heard about all of the negative stereotypes. Hearing one thing before, and then experiencing another during rush really confuses you. Go with your gut feeling.
