First let me say, signing on here and seeing apost with my name just freaked me out until I read the one after it....
Okay, I know it is hard (and i guess I know you so it helps) but sometimes your friends will not be supportive for a lot of reasons. Cassie and Carolyn have known me for 18 and 9 years respectively and Carolyn is totally condiscending about me being in a sorority... why? Because honestly I know she is jealous. She wanted to be in one and couldn't because of her grades. And your friends at home may be jealous because you are doing what you want and they aren't. You went away to college and you are doing well and you have a life away from them now. That makes them jealous because they are there with each other still... see what I mean?
I hope you can change their minds, though because losing friends hurts..
