Apparently her arm was not actually broken, or even fractured. A channel 7 news reporter did a story thursday evening at 11 ish or so. He contacted the hospital doctor(who had permission from the family to release the information) who stated she didn't have any fractures, broken bones, or bruises or scratches. Here is the report

She and another student who were arrested signed a statement at the time saying they were not injured and did not need medical attention with the arresting officer. The mother was arrested for pushing a teacher (or administrator)who fell, but was thankfully caught by another teacher. Mom was not blameless either. Apparently mom is also under a restraining order from a prior neighbor who she punched in the face three times because he asked her to not let her children climb up on his 7 foot high block fence because he didn't want them to fall and get hurt.
Apparently, there was a lot more to the story. Maybe we shouldn't all be so willing to jump on the bandwagon.
Here is an article on the subject from the Antelope Valley Press.
