Heartfelt congrats!!
After looking again at your situation, it seemed almost as hard to get a camel through the eye of a needle than for you to get a happy ending like this with it!! I say you have a lot to be proud of!! My sister was in a super strong and some would argue the most popular sorority here in the late 1990's, and if I recall correctly, she never got cut by anybody during her recruitment. Her credentials were certainly good, but not exceptional as I remember; but she had an open mind, did her rush homework, and was nice and outgoing to all (10 sororities back then). And I believe that was the decisive factor in her success. So happy to see you beat the odds in another sort of way also!! If it can happen at Ole Miss, it can happen anywhere!! I do very much feel Ole Miss needs two more sororities so all girls who just want a bid will have somewhere to go. Hopefully soon the university will have eleven NPC sororities like they used to and now need more than ever!
Again, congratulations on a heartwarming success story!!
