The site isn't infallible, though, as it says that there's only one of me, when I know that there's two. According to that site, neither my mother or my brother exist.

I know that one of the others is in DES MOINES with my exact married name (including middle name), so I started adding my birth name as part of my name.

Pretty creepy when the police show up at your house with an arrest warrant for her.

I just check my credit report (which is bad enough because of *me*) and sure as shooting, there is obviously some of her stuff on there now too. It isn't even attempted identity theft as we have different ssn and birthdays (and she isn't using mine).

That happened to my dad when we lived in SC. There was a less than savory character in the same town we lived in with dad's exact name. He had a warrant out for his arrest for something (I can't remember what) and it was in the paper. Luckily the police chief went to our church (dad's a preacher), so he KNEW it wasn't dad. But it was still kinda funny/odd dealing with people in the community.

I know for a fact that I am the only person with my name and spelling. My first name is very popular but unique spelling and my last name? not very common at all. Same with my sister. As for my parents....6 others with my mom's name....her first name is very common. As for my Dad, there are 2....but since my dad is a Jr. I suspect they may mean his father, but since he is no longer part of the mortal coil...who knows.

I can say that everyone with my last name....is 90% (I have to give a little wiggle room) are "my people".

Apparently only 400ish people have my mom's maiden name - I never knew it was that unique!

I don't exist.

It tells me that no one in the U.S. has my name. I even tried it with my maiden name and I still don't exist.

(I just looked you up.) Apparently my high school boyfriend doesn't exist either.

There are 710 of me but only 5 of me with my original last name.

When I first got my current last name I had all these people calling me from Texas asking me strange questions. Then the police stopped by my apartment. Apparently one of "me" was wanted in Texas. They took one look at me and knew I wasn't the one who had been involved in criminal behavior as far back as 1972. I was only 6 years old then!
